50 Years Community Grant Terms & Conditions

1.The promotion is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) aged 18 years or over.

2. How to participate: Entry is free. Enter by scanning the QR code in store, clicking on a promotional banner or link within onestop.co.uk or https://one-stop-stores.campaign.playable.com/50th-birthday-nomination-page to access an external microsite. Nominator provides their own details and those of the nominated Community group.

3. By entering the promotion, you hereby warrant that all the information submitted by you in your application is true to the best of your knowledge.

4. No applications from agents or those automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

5. Community groups may get nominated multiple times, however only one entry per group will be considered for the overall £500 community grant.

6. Overall grant consists of £500 made payable directly to the selected organisation. A total of 50 grants of £500 are available. Total fund of £25,000.

7. Grants are non-transferable; The grant excludes anything not expressly listed above; The grant provider is One Stop Stores Ltd and Groundwork UK is the administrator of the grant.

8. If any community group is unable for whatever reason to accept the prize(s) then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize(s) to another participant selected in accordance with the promotion rules.

9. The nomination opening date is Tuesday 2nd September 2025 at 9:00am and closes at 11:59pm on Monday 13th October 2025 and any entries received after the closing date will not be accepted by the Promoter.

10. Submission of entries and proof of sending will not constitute proof of receipt. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries that the Promoter does not receive. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data in transit. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or damaged as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Illegible, incomplete, late or defaced entries will be disqualified.

11. One Stop Community team will go through all submissions and select 50 community groups within 28 days of the closing date. The details of which will be shared with Groundwork UK to contact the groups. Groundwork UK will provide a link to a grant application form which is to be completed by the community group and submitted back to Groundwork UK in order for due diligence on the group to be completed. Upon this process being completed and no issues found funding will then be confirmed by Groundwork UK on behalf of One Stop. One Stop reserves the right to withdraw applications that fail to satisfy due diligence requirements and select an alternative group in accordance with the terms and conditions.

12. The selected community groups can be requested by sending an email to community@onestop.co.uk after 90 days of the closing date. If your group is selected and don’t agree to this, or otherwise wish to limit the information that we make available, please contact us via this email address.

13. The group agrees to participate in any publicity or other such promotional activities which the Promoter may reasonably require in connection with the grant promotion and the Promoter shall have the right to use each winner’s name, likeness, image, voice and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the prize promotion in all media after receiving the grant and without the need to make any payment to any winner for.

14. These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.

15. Data will be stored within Playable for 28 days after the closing date. One Stop Community Team will store the data securely for 90 days after the closing date. Groundwork UK will use the data to make contact with the selected 50 groups and then upon completing the Groundwork Grant application form data will be stored in accordance with Groundwork UK data retention policy.
